Se acuerda que hace pocos días habíamos informado que EA habia sacado su plataformas de ventas de juegos online, Origin?, al parecer David DeMartini en una charla con IndustryGamers declara que Origin no es ni mucho menos un rival de Steam, y que no es un “esto o esto” al momento de elegir un sistema.

De echo, advierte que ellos han aprendido mucho acerca de Steam y que fueron buenos compañeros en el pasado, textualmente dijo “Just because a gamer chooses to play Battlefield 3 doesn’t preclude them from playing another shooter game, just as the fact that I’m on Facebook doesn’t mean I don’t also use LinkedIn”.


“We expect people will purchase content and utilize both Origin and Steam. We’ve learned a lot from Steam, they have been good partners. We will continue to listen to our customers, expand the social feature set, and will make Origin the best service on the market”.

La store de EA ya cuenta con 150 titulos, y con la exclusiva del juego Star Wars: The Old Republic.
